The Fonic GOBO is an acoustic foam absorber bonded to a hard skin. This gives it the property of absorbing on one face and preventing sound passing through it. This is useful when multiple musicians or vocalists need to work close to each other and spill from each of them to the other microphones needs to be reduced. They are mounted on standard microphone stands so that they can be formed into a tight arc or circle if needed.

Fonic GOBOs are also very useful for providing adjustable acoustics in a room. They can be lined along walls and by altering the way they face or the angle they make with the wall, the reverb time of the the room can be adjusted. This is the best way of achieving adjustable acoustics and is much lower cost than permanent adjustable panels.
